Job description
Job Summary:
As the HR Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing HR operations within the agency. You will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, coordinating training and development programs, managing performance appraisals, and reviewing and rolling out policies. You will focus on enhancing the overall employee experience, including optimizing employee benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.
Ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain HR documentation, including employment contracts, personnel files, and HR records.
Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing HR-related queries and issues promptly.
Employee Termination & Offboarding:
Manage the employee termination process, ensuring it is handled professionally and in compliance with legal standards.
Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and provide insights to improve employee retention and engagement.
Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees, including the return of company property and the finalization of any outstanding obligations.
Strategic HR Support:
Assist the Senior HR Executive in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the agency’s goals.
Contribute to workforce planning and talent management initiatives to ensure the agency’s talent needs are met.
Support the development and execution of diversity and inclusion initiatives within the agency.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and help develop, coordinate, and facilitate training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with department heads to create career development plans and succession planning strategies.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Performance Appraisals:
Assist in managing the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and fair evaluations.
Work with managers to set performance goals, provide feedback, and develop performance improvement plans where necessary.
Analyze performance appraisal data and assist in identifying trends for improvement.
Policy Review & Formation:
Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure they are current and compliant.
Assist in the formation and rollout of new HR policies, ensuring employees are informed and understand their implications.
Promote consistency and fairness in the application of HR policies across the agency.
Employee Experience & Benefits:
Actively seek opportunities to enhance the employee experience through engagement initiatives and well-being programs.
Support the review and enhancement of employee benefits packages to attract and retain talent.
Conduct employee surveys to gather feedback and help develop action plans to address areas of concern.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on operations, training, or employee relations.
Strong understanding of HR operations, labor laws, and best practices.
Experience in training and development, performance management, and policy formation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, creative environment and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
